I want to thank you for the information you put out and I hope to one day take a Safe-IR class. I currently present TI to firefighters in the area and will be taking my Level 1 IR certification next month. I always considered my “Self taught” TIC skills from the University of You-Tube and Google to be enough to get by, until I had the SAFE-IR course. The level of professionalism and the skill sets Bob Athanas brought to the table were second to none. His classroom portion partnered with the live burn was invaluable, the theory really took to life with Bob right there to show you how to do what you need to do at real calls. TIC salesmen will tell you about the camera but SAFE-IR is there to show you how to use it for Firefighting. A great course from start to finish. Recommend SAFE-IR inc to every dept that uses TIC technology on their first run apparatus. Took a LONG time to Get Bob to MFES but with the help from the SAFE-IR company it happened and it was well worth the effort.

Thanks for the excellent course. Bob kept us in our seats with excellent classroom lectures, and the time in the smokehouse was invaluable. I acquired a wealth of information and training to take back to my department to get us to bring this severely underused tool to the forefront of our firefighting techniques.

Safe -IR thermal imaging training is a must for all interior firefighters. Its the talk of my department. We learned the ins and outs of our thermal imaging cameras and made it a tool that can be used to its fullest. Great instructors very down to earth.

Following the hiring of 15 new firefighters and establishing our first probationary firefighter academy; we brought in SAFER-IR for TIC training as part of our live fire training. The knowledge base of the instructors is second to none. Their technical expertise; their real world experience and their ability to effectively to pass on the critical information, both in the classroom and in the drill yard was highly evident. These new probationary firefighters are better prepared and more engaged in meeting the challenges we face in the modern fire environment. I believe we’ve achieved outstanding training results from their program and I highly recommend SAFER-IR for any departments training program.

I recently attended a class in Claymont, DE with John and Gary Forristall (sorry if that's spelled wrong). They did an outstanding job! Their down-to-earth attitudes made the class very enjoyable. The information was extremely useful and their delivery including their real-life experience was fantastic. This was the third time that I've attended a Safe IR class (FDIC in 2010 and Leadership Under Fire class in Allentown, PA). I will attend this class any time that I have the opportunity. I've picked up new information and had a great review each time. THANK YOU for your commitment to educating the fire service!

great ,great class i had been to a safe ir class years ago,suprised at how much i forgot,can't say enough about bob,it is easy to find good instructors and classes,but rare that you find one with the talent and experiance to present it a manner in which it is actually applicable on the fire ground, the real deal!I have a new hero!
